LAHORE: At least 500 manufacturers, whole-sellers, retailers, importers and exporter have appealed to the government to make simple procedure for registration of sales tax in the Regional Tax Offices.
Source told Customs Today that due to the complications in Integrated Risk Management System (IRIS), 500 cases of sales tax registration are pending and the taxpayers are facing problems.
Sources said that due to change in software many problems are being faced by traders in sales tax registration.
While on the other hand, the Federal Board of Revenue is trying to facilitate taxpayers and all NTN numbers are issued without delay. The complaints against the IRIS system are decreasing day by day the sources added as saying
