DHAKA: Bangladesh Women Chamber of Commerce and Industry (BWCCI) has been awarded the 7th Local Chamber Award in the big category. BWCCI President Selima Ahmad received the award at the 30th Conference of the Confederation of Asia-Pacific Chambers of Commerce and Industry (CACCI) held during 23-25 November, in Taipei, Taiwan, said a press release here today.
The conference was organized by CACCI in cooperation with the Chinese International Economic Cooperation Association (CIECA) and the Chinese National Association of Industry and Commerce, Taiwan (CNAIC). A 12-member Business delegation of Bangladesh led by Federation of Bangladesh Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FBCCI) President Abdul Matlub Ahmad attended at the conference.
