Cadillac four-cylinder, six cylinder diesel engines will be used to power up Cadillac ATS, CTS

OTTAWA: Diesel powered models might be a big thing in Europe but not so in the US but Cadillac still thinks that the addition of the diesel engine will help improve their sales numbers.

According to Cadillac President Johan de Nysschen, they are currently working on some diesel engine that they are planning to use to power up some of their Cadillac like the Cadillac ATS.

They revealed that they diesel powered Cadillacs will be making its way into the market by 2019. The diesel-powered models will be released in Europe first before making its way to the US as well.

Cadillac is currently working on four-cylinder and six cylinder diesel engine that they reveal will be use to power up the Cadillac ATS as well as the Cadillac CTS. While it is nice to hear that US is also part of the plan, the news is more significant to the European market than the US market.
