NEW YORK: The Calaveras County Chamber of Commerce is promoting Small Business Saturday and encourages Calaveras County residents to shop at small, local businesses on Nov. 28, the day after Black Friday.
The chamber of commerce lists the following Nov. 28 special promotions on its website:
Mokelumne Hill Nuts and Gifts, 8299 Main St., Mokelumne Hill, is opening a special holiday store on Nov. 28. The inventory will include nuts and candies, gift baskets and stocking stuffers
The Timeless Home Gall-ery, 1316 Oak Circle, Arnold, will offer free gifts from local artists in the gallery.
Copper Cellars, 308 Town Square Road, Copperopolis, will offer Old Estate Wines for $2 off the regular price.
Flourish Apparel and Gifts, 401 Town Square Road, Copperopolis, will have 15 percent off Miss Me jeans and tops, 20 percent to 40 percent off selected clothing and 10 percent off all other clothing and gifts.
