CALIFORNIA: The California State Board of Equalization (BOE) is five members publicly appointed tax board. The BOE collects $60 billion annually in taxes and fees supporting state and local government services.
On August 6, 2015, California State Board of Equalization (BOE) Chairman Jerome E. Horton will host the free Westchester Business Resource Seminar and Expo to provide small to medium sized businesses with information about millions of dollars in tax credits and refunds and business loan assistance.
Attendees will learn about traditional and nontraditional capital and have complex tax laws explained simply, plus have the opportunity to meet their elected representatives who make decisions that affect small businesses.
