LONDON: Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare new weapons and gear packs are exclusive to Microsoft consoles, though PlayStation and PC are sure to follow.

According to the official blog of the Call of Duty developer, the M1 Irons revolver is their gift to players for the continued support of Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare. The revolver is available to players in the “create-a-class” section of their Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare loadouts.

“The M1 Irons revolver not only packs a punch, but has excellent mobility and range. As with all weapons in Advanced Warfare, the M1 Irons has a full suite of loot variants available through Supply Drops, and Advanced Supply Drops. We’re excited for you to try it out and have as much fun as we’ve had making it.”

In addition to the M1 Irons revolver, Call of Duty fans can purchase personalization packs from the Xbox store, each for a $1.99. The personalization packs give Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare players new weapon camos, reticles, calling cards, and some new emblem items.

Backdraft -animated liquid-fuel burning weapon camo with three “fireproof” reticles

Lagoon – animated, aquatic-themed weapon camo with three “watertight” reticles

Tiki – animated, glowing weapon camo with three “shipwrecked” reticles

Psychedelic – animated, shimmering weapon camo with three “hallucinatory” reticles

Finally, new gear available via Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare‘s supply drops are now available in game, according to the Call of Duty Dev’s Twitter. The four different gear sets vary in look, giving each player even more ways to personalize their avatar.

The weapon and personalization gear packs are currently only available to Call of Duty players on Xbox One and 360, and there is no timetable for their release on other platforms. If the trend holds as it has with each of the previous DLC packs, players on PlayStation and PC could be waiting at least a month for the items to hit their platform. The last DLC pack, “Ascendence,” recently came to PC and PlayStation on April 30 to little fanfare.

In other Call of Duty news, the upcoming Black Ops 3 was revealed to be releasing only on current-gen consoles and PC. The Inquisitr previously speculated on whether Call of Duty leaving behind last-gen consoles was a good thing.
