EASTERN PRINCE EDWARD ISLAND: RCMP have ripped up 45 marijuana plants discovered by a motorcycle patrol in eastern P.E.I.
The plants were discovered in the Gaspereaux area on Tuesday. It is not anticipated that there will be any charges laid in connection with the plants.
In a news release, RCMP said over the next several weeks outdoor marijuana plants will be maturing and members of the Kings District RCMP will be making patrols of rural areas by motorcycle and other means in an attempt to locate illegal grow operations.
