QUÉBEC: Sûreté du Québec officers seized arrested two men and seized 90 kilograms of marijuana in Vaudreuil-Dorion.
At around 3 p.m., officers from the MRC Vaudreuil-Soulanges Est station stopped a vehicle on Valois St. in Vaudreuil-Dorion. They arrested two men, ages 30 and 31, both residents of Vaudreuil-Dorion. A police search of a residence on Long St. in Vaudreuil-Dorion owned by one of the men in custody resulted in the discovery of multiple sports bags and garbage bags stuffed with marijuana, $20,000 in cash, plus smaller amounts of what appeared to be cocaine and hashish.
The two men are expected to be arraigned at the court house in Salaberry-de-Valleyfield on Oct. 14.
