OTTAWA: A drug raid coordinated by Hamilton and Halton police resulted in a massive seizure of drugs worth over $500,000 here the other day.
Eight people from Hamilton have been arrested, and are now facing 28 charges.
Police found cocaine, methamphetamines, marijuana and prescription pills during the raid. They also seized $70,000 in cash and four vehicles.
The accused in the case range from 21 years old to 58 years old. Five people will appear in Hamilton court Wednesday for bail hearings.
