WINDSOR: Windsor Police arrested two people from Windsor with intent to smuggle more than $14,500 worth of methamphetamine.
Police seized a total of 72.6 grams of methamphetamine after responding to a break and enter call at a motel in the 3600 block of Sandwich Street.
The caller said a woman was using a window to get into a room.
Officers found a man and a woman inside that room, where they saw several syringes, a digital scale, a glass pipe and a baggie containing 7 grams of methamphetamine.
After getting a warrant to search the room police seized another 65.6 grams of methamphetamine and packing materials.
They were able to link the room another man.
A 29-year old man from Windsor is charged with trafficking and breach of probation.
A 27-year old woman from Windsor is charged with trafficking.
A 46-year old Windsor man is to be summonsed in relation to trafficking.
None of the charges have been proven in court.
