WASHINGTON: The Canadian government is set to host a forum next week on trade and economic cooperation in the Asia-Pacific region, Global Affairs Canada said in a press release.

“From July 24 to 28, 2017, Canada will host a meeting of the Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation Business Advisory Council (ABAC) in Toronto,” the release stated on Friday. “The meeting is the third of the year and will bring together business leaders from Canada and other Asia-Pacific economies on matters related to trade and economic cooperation and connectivity in the APEC region in advance of the APEC leaders’ meeting in Vietnam in November.”
