Canal express way to bring social, economic revolution: Sanaullah

FAISALABAD: Provincial Law Minister Rana Sanaullah Khan has said that the completion of mega project of Canal Express Way will bring revolution in social and economic development of the district.

He said this during inspection of the road from Gatwala to Sahianwala on Monday. MPAs Ch Muhammad Afzal Sahi, Azad Ali Tabassam, DCO Noor ul Amin Mengal and other officers of concerned departments were also present.

He said this 25 kilometer long two-way mega project was completing at a cost of Rs 7 billion in record minimum time of 10 months, adding that this project was approved by Punjab Chief Minister Muhammad Shahbaz Sharif especially for the people of Faisalabad district.

The minister said that development culture was flourishing across the province according to the development vision of the Punjab Chief Minister.

Expressing satisfaction on the work of the project, Rana Sanaullah Khan said that the benefits of development projects should be extended to the common man.

Earlier, DCO Noor ul Amin Mengal said that under-pass on both sides of the canal at Gatwala Chowk was near to completion while 80 percent construction work of flyovers at Khurarianwala-Chak Jhumra Road and Sahianwla had almost been completed.
