TOKYO: Capcom talked more about their upcoming PlayStation 4 exclusive Deep Down in an interview to weekly Famitsu (via Gematsu). They also released a new snippet of Deep Down gameplay, which showed some stunning footage of the game and a fire breathing dragon that was also seen in the original reveal of the game

Capcom’s Kazunori Sugiura discussed Deep Down revealing how important the project is for them.

“Deep Down is a game we’re going to be hedging out bets on for, give or take, 15 years, so we can’t put it out at its current visual level and say those graphics will be top-notch. It’s an extreme case, but this game takes five or six times the amount of productivity as Monster Hunter Frontier G.”

Deep Down was originally revealed for PlayStation 4 at the PlayStation Experience event back in February 2013. It has been in development for a long time but has yet to receive an official release. Capcom is also mysteriously silent over the release of the game overseas.

A beta version of Deep Down was planned for release last year but was delayed to an unspecified date. Capcom has yet to comment on a release date for the beta version, which was limited to Japan only.
