WASHINGTON: Estonian ports in February 2016 handled 2.5 million tons of cargoes, 16.9% less than in the same month last year, it appears from data released by Statistics Estonia, cites LETA/BNS.
Loading of goods decreased 20.4% to 1.8 million tons and unloading fell 7.7% to 789,300 tons. Compared to January, loading shrank 31.5% and unloading declined 3.9%. In the first two months of the year, freight flows of Estonian ports totaled 5.9 million tons, 7.5% less than the year before.
