Customs Appellate Tribunal chief hears 30 cases, reserves decisions in two

ISLAMABAD: Customs Appellate Tribunal Chairman Ghulam Murtaza Bhatti on Tuesday heard 30 cases and reserved decisions of two of cases.

The CAT chairman heard as many as five cases as single bench.  As many as 25 cases were heard by a two member division bench chaired by the CAT chairman.

Hearing the cases as single bench, the chairman reserved decisions of DG I&I, Islamabad and Sarfraz Ahmad cases after allowing the counsels to complete their arguments.

Meanwhile, the bench dismissed a petition filed by Raja Muhammad against DG I&I, Islamabad.
