The Division Bench, consisting of Chairman Ghulam Murtaza Bhatti and member technical Khalid Mahmood, will hear cases relating to smuggling of goods and evasion of duties. A single bench chaired by the chairman would also hear cases of the similar nature.

The division bench is likely to declare its verdict on the Euro Duty Free and Laguardia Logistics case which it reserved during previous hearings. The Euro Duty Free (company) had filed a petition in CAT, seeking the court to set aside customs deputy collector’s decision for cancellation of the company’s license.

The same bench would also hear cases filed by National Institute of Health Sciences Islamabad, Expanded Program of Immunization (EPI), M/S China Water, Fahad Industries, TCS, Prime Poly Tax and Atlas Honda.
