TEXAS:  US Customs and Border Protection is announcing that it will expand the All Lanes Open Initiative during the next two weeks. CBP is also advising travelers that the city of El Paso is providing additional public-private partnership funding to CBP during the next two weeks which will allow the agency to open even more lanes than usual during specific times at designated crossings at the El Paso port of entry.

CBP is also reminding travelers that they can download and use the free Border Wait Time app to monitor crossing times. The app is now available at the Apple App Store and at Google Play. The app is a one-stop shop for cross border travel and provides estimated wait times and open lane status at land ports of entry. In addition to using the border wait time app travelers can observe view traffic conditions at the Paso Del Norte, Stanton and Ysleta bridges on the city of El Paso website.
