TORONTO: CBSA officers seized 1.94 kg of cocaine concealed in a suitcase coming from the Dominican Republic on March 24, 2015.
Canada Border Services officers have confiscated almost two kilos of cocaine from a suitcase coming from the Dominican Republic at the Calgary International Airport.
Officials say 1.94 kg of cocaine was in a case that was intercepted on March 24, 2015 and the drugs have been over the RCMP.
Last Year, CBSA officers made 234 drug seizures that produced 177 kg worth of drugs at the Calgary airport.
The drugs were turned over to the Royal Canadian Mounted Police Serious and Organized Crime Unit.
There is no word on charges and the CBSA says the investigation is ongoing.
