TORONTO: The Canada Border Services Agency (CBSA) announced a significant seizure of over 11 kg of suspected cocaine at the Toronto Pearson International Airport (TPIA).
CBSA officers monitored the offload of baggage arriving on a flight from Curacao. A detector dog was deployed and indicated on two suitcases. Upon further inspection of the suitcase, officers discovered 11 bricks containing a substance that field tested positive for suspected cocaine.
The packages of suspected cocaine were turned over to the Peel Regional Police and the investigation is ongoing.
