TORONTO: Border services officers seized 93 kg of suspected cocaine in a pickup truck at the Hereford Road border crossing in Quebec.
A Canadian resident arrived at the Hereford Road crossing in a black pickup truck registered in Quebec. The border services officers inspected his vehicle and found 52 packages of suspected cocaine, totalling 93 kg.
The driver of the vehicle was arrested. The Royal Canadian Mounted Police (RCMP) investigation is under way. For questions about the investigation, please contact the RCMP.
