CALGARY: The Canada Border Services Agency (CBSA) says officers seized a significant amount of cocaine at the Calgary International Airport last month.
On March 24, nearly two kilograms of cocaine was found hidden in a suitcase coming in from the Dominican Republic, the agency says.
The RCMP’s serious and organized crime unit is now investigating and no other details have been made available.
In 2014, there were 234 seizures at the airport of drugs which were either carried in by passengers or concealed within shipments, the agency says.
