OTTAWA: Canada Border Service Agency (CBSA) found 14.5 kilograms of suspected meth after a routine secondary inspection of a vehicle.
The sport utility vehicle had inconsistencies in the rocker panels and was subsequently dismantled by the CBSA where they found the suspicious packages.
Season Turax, 40, of Calgary was subsequently charged by RCMP with three counts of importation and possession for the purpose of trafficking under the Controlled Drugs and Substances Act, and smuggling under the Customs Act.
