CDA conducts balloting for allotment of 154 residential plots: 48 of 1000 yards and 106 of 500 yards

ISLAMABAD: The Capital Development Authority (CDA) has conducted a transparent balloting for allotment of 154 residential plots in its unique Park Enclave Housing Project. A total of 48 plots of 1000 yards and 106 plots of 500 yards were allotted through the balloting.

The balloting process was supervised by a committee headed by Member Finance CDA, Arbab Sher Bahadar, while Director General Land and Estate, Director General Law, Director Estate Management-I, Director Estate Management-II, Director Public Relations, Director I.T and Director Regional Planning CDA being members of the balloting supervisory committee were also present on the occasion.

In order to ensure transparency in the balloting process manual balloting procedure was adopted and the balloting process was also conducted in the presence of large number of applicants who applied for the residential plots of Park Enclave Housing Project, representatives of civil society, NAB, FIA, Immensity International while representatives of both electronic and print media also witnessed the balloting process. The particulars of the successful candidates have been uploaded on website of the Authority.

. Earlier, in order to ensure transparency and to facilitate the applicants the particulars of the applicants were uploaded on the website of CDA for three days, so that any objection, if any, may be addressed. Chairman CDA, Maroof Afzal has lauded the steps taken by the relevant formations of the Authority for organising transparent and successful balloting of the plots of Park Enclave.
