CDA gives traders three-day deadline for removing encroachments

ISLAMABAD: The Capital Development Authority (CDA) Monday gave business community three-day deadline for removing encroachments.

Concerned departments of the CDA including Enforcement Directorate, Building Control Section and Magistrate of CDA, in a joint operation have sealed one shops in G-9/4 Peshawar Mor.

The civic body has started operation early morning but after resistant from the encroachers the authority stopped the operation and called police force on the spot.

After the negotiation with business community of G-9/4 CDA officers gave three days time to the owners of shops to remove their encroachments from residential units.

CDA official said that the authority will check the documents given by the owners and will consult the matter with legal adviser for further action. He said that the CDA management will not compromise on non-conforming use of house in capital.
