CDA scam of 650 plots’ allotment: FIA registers case against 10 officials

ISLAMABAD: A mega scandal on illegal allotment of 650 plots by corrupt elements of Capital Development Authority (CDA) has surfaced up.

An unholy nexus of senior officers of CDA and property mafia has led to illegal allotment of 650 plots valuing billion of rupees in Chak Shahzad.

FIA has registered case against more than 10 senior officers of CDA and property mafia and has started conducting raids for their arrest.

As per FIA sources, the case registered under No 90 in anti corruption cell police station Rawalpindi reveals that some senior officers of CDA in connivance with their favorite property dealers including Ashiq Abbasi, Hamid Abbasi, Rashid Abbasi and others have illegally allotted, transferred and regularized 650 plots. Detailed investigations were made against these officers for several weeks. On finding concrete evidence case has been registered against them in FIA Anti corruption cell Rawalpindi police station and investigations have been started.
