CeBit computer expo highlights super speed USB drive, SecuTablet, robot artist

LONDON: CeBit computer expo exhibits lots of interesting stuff coming out of this year.

Firstly, iStorage announced the release of a super speed USB 3.0 drive with digital encryption.

The device consists of a robust, shock-proof design as well as the XTS-AES 256-bit AES hardware encryption, allowing the secure yet easy portability of confidential data, encrypting information at 3.0 speeds.

Dr Hans-Christoph Quelle, CEO of Secusmart, commented: “Security is ingrained in every part of BlackBerry’s portfolio, which includes voice and data encryption solutions.

“National and international government customers have entrusted their voice and data communications with the Secusmart Security Card for years. This same technology is what secures the new SecuTABLET. Working alongside IBM and Samsung, we have added the last link in the chain of the Federal Security Network.”

TP-Link unveiled a new business class indoor Wi-Fi access point, along with an upgraded extender into the UK market, which promised to boost a flawless wireless signal to previously unreachable and hard to wire areas.

Plus, Robochop, the robot artist showed off its skills, designing small bits of art quicker than any mere human.
