Central Region collects Rs 3,286m customs duty in 5 months

LAHORE: The Customs Central Region has collected a customs duty (CD) of Rs 3,286 million in first five months of financial year 2014-15 against the target of Rs 4,707 million.

According to the data available with Customs Today, MCC Faislabad collected  Rs 250 million against the target of Rs 279 million while MCC Multan collected Rs 912 million during the period under review. The MCC Lahore preventive collected CD of Rs 645 million against the target of Rs 635 million attaining a growth of 2 percent while MCC appraisement collected  Customs Duty Rs 1,478 million against the target of Rs 2,021 million.
