Central region duty, taxes collection up 6pc‏

LAHORE: The Customs central region has registered a growth of 6 percent by collecting Rs 118,820 million duty and taxes during first ten months of current fiscal year 2015-16.

According to details. Customs Appraisement collected Rs 51739.53 million duty and taxes registering growth of 14 percent against the target of Rs 45481.38 million. Customs Preventive gathered Rs 25219 million while customs Multan registered growth of 7 percent by collecting Rs 35784 million against target of Rs 33501.30 million.

Similarly, Faisalabad customs generated Rs 6075 million duty and taxes showing growth of 1 percent against Rs 6042 million duty and taxes. Overall the region collected Rs 118820 million registering growth of 6 percent.
