105 newly recruited customs officers of BS-16 complete three-month training program in Lahore

LAHORE: As many as 105 newly recruited customs officers belonging to BS-16 from all Directorates and Collectorates of the Customs Central Region have completed a three-month specialized training programme in Lahore.

The training was arranged by Directorate General of Training and Research (Customs) Lahore. It was exclusively designed for the customs officers of BS 16 by DGTR (Customs) Karachi and was duly approved by the Federal Board of Revenue (FBR). The officers were apprised of new customs laws, rules, procedures etc. in addition to other relevant modules

At the passing out ceremony, which took place at Ali Institute of Education  (Ali Auditorium) Lahore on July 11, 2017, Member Human Resource Management Rozi Khan, FBR was the chief guest. Director General of Directorate General Training and Research Ms. Rubina Wasti, graced the occasion along with Saleem Ranjha DG, IPR, Dr. Asif Mahmood Jah Collector Appeals, Mohammad Sadiq Collector Cutoms Collectorate Faisalabad, Jamil Nasir, Collector Customs Appraisement Lahore, Zulfiqar Chaudhry, Collector Customs Collectorate of Preventive Lahore, Saud Imran Ahmad Collector Customs Multan, Zulfiqar Younis Director Intelligence and Investigations along with other officers were special guests on the occasion.

The newly recruited officers were awarded certificates of achievement and completion of the training program. The officers lauded the efforts of DGTR (Customs) Lahore for imparting them a very effective training. They specially thanked Mrs. Saima Shahzad, Director DGTR (Customs) Lahore, Mrs. Kanwal Ali Deputy Director DGTR(Customs), Mudassar Tirmizi Deputy Director DGTR Customs Lahore, and Ahmed Yar Bhatti Inspector DGTR (Customs) Lahore.

The newly recruited customs officers shall join their respective postings with a resolve to serve the state in best possible manner.
