Centre forms body to ensure continuous power supply in KP

PESHAWAR: The federal government has formed a committee to ensure uninterrupted power supply to the province of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.

The decision was taken during the meeting between State Minister for Water and Power Abid Sher Ali and Chief Minister Pervez Khattak at the CM’s Secretariat, amid violent protests across the province.

According to a handout, Khattak urged Abid to ensure K-P receives its rightful share from the national grid and in return assured full cooperation on the provincial government’s part.
