CAPE TOWN: The winner of the Business Innovation Award 2015 was revealed on Thursday night at a ceremony at The Forum “The Campus in Bryanston”.
FNB in partnership with Endeavor SA came up with the awards to promote innovation in businesses that will ultimately grow the economy and create jobs. Bruce Morgan, CEO of GreatSoft CRM, was named the overall winner of the inaugural award with Spark Schools — a group of private primary schools in Johannesburg receiving special recognition for starting an important local business focusing on innovative and quality education.
The FNB committee will be spending some time with the schools to see where they can assist in growing the business. Mr Morgan’s prize includes a trip to San Francisco later this year to attend Endeavor’s prestigious International Selection Panel — an opportunity to gain valuable business insights from world-renowned business leaders.
“The FNB Business Innovation Award is a fantastic achievement for us. It validates the work that our team continues to do on a daily basis. Five years ago we reviewed the course of our business and it is great to see our efforts paying off. We are thrilled with this accolade and look forward to the opportunities ahead,” said Mr Morgan, Spark Schools is headed by Stacey Brewer and Ryan Harrison, who wanted to provide high-quality and affordable education for all South Africans.
