ISLAMABAD: The Customs Intelligence and Investigation FBR Islamabad obtained great achievements in the cases of money laundering and currency smuggling and arrested Superintendent Customs I&I Afzal posted at Karachi Airport on bribery.

Chairman Federal Board of Revenue Dr. Muhammad Irshad is going to hold a press conference along with Member Customs Nasir Masroor Ahmed and Director General Customs Intelligence Shaukat Ali at Directorate General Intelligence and Investigation Customs Headquarters today (Friday 17) in the evening regarding important cases of narcotics and money laundering.

According to the sources, chairman FBR will apprise the press of details of all cases. It is also expected that he may announce reward for the officials who have played a major role in getting this breakthrough.

It is also important to mention here that Directorate Customs I&I has also arrested some important persons in narcotics and money laundering cases from Lahore and Faisalabad.
