ISLAMABAD: Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) Chairman Nisar Mohammad Khan has arrived in the United Kingdom to register a case against Kuwaiti company M/s Agility in International Center for Settlement of Investment Disputes (ICSID).

Sources informed Customs Today that the FBR has hired a renowned law firm of UK to pursue the case. The FBR decided to register the case in ICSID in November. It is necessary to mention here that M/s Agility also registered a case against the FBR in which it a gave reference of accords signed between Pakistan and Kuwait. But when the FBR went through all these accords, it found nothing that would bar the department from filing a case against the company. After this M/s. Agility decided to withdraw the case.
