Chairman Nisar summons DC Naureen Tarar in misconduct case

ISLAMABAD: Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) Chairman Nisar Mohammad Khan summoned Deputy Collector Naureen Tarar in his office on November 9 to explain her position against charges leveled against her.

According to details, Member Administration FBR Majid Qureshi ordered to suspend the performance allowance of the official.  During the inquiry against her, she was found involved in violation of official rules and regulations. Deputy Collector Naureen Tarar filed appeal against suspension of her performance allowance before the FBR chairman. Now the chairman has directed her to personally appear before him to explain her point of view along with solid documentary evidences to prove her innocence.

Sources said that on the other hand chairman FBR also directed Member Administration to bring all record of the case on the date of hearing.  Sources said that if deputy collector failed to convince chairman, then stern disciplinary action will be taken against her.

Sources said that Deputy Collector Naureen Tarar already requested chairman FBR to consider her appeal purely on humanitarian grounds.
