Chairman FBR Nisar to hear Deputy Collector Nafees case today

ISLAMABAD: Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) Chairman Nisar Mohammad Khan will personally hear a case against Deputy Collector Nafees Ahmad Khan on August 9 (today).

Sources told Customs Today Deputy Collector Nafees Ahmad Khan is facing the charges of misconduct and using authority illegally. An official of grade-20 conducted the inquiry against Nafees Ahmad who concluded that all charges against the deputy collector are valid. He recommended to impose heavy penalty on the official.

Sources said that after labeling of charges against deputy collector FBR also taken back the charge of DC from Nafees Ahmad till the final conclusion of case.

Now the case of Deputy Collector Nafees Ahmad is on FBR Chairman Nisar table he directed Nafees Ahmad to appear before him and explain his point of view along with relevant documentary proof.

It is necessary to mention here that Chairman FBR reserves the right to consider plea of any official, staff purely on humanitarian grounds.
