ISLAMABAD: Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) Chairman Nisar Mohammad Khan will meet former country director of World Bank in Pakistan John Wall today.
Sources said that during the meeting both officials will discuss tax reforms, while measures will also come up for discussion about broadening of tax net and tax amnesty scheme. Sources said that both officials will review steps being taken by the FBR to achieve revenue target .
It is pertinent to mention here that World Bank always favor reforms in tax system of Paksitan and some reforms were introduced in tax system after pressure from World Bank.
