Chief Collector Appraisement South Rashid Shaikh for conducting hearing of cases on regular basis

KARACHI: Chief Collector-Appraisement South Abdul Rashid Shaikh has advised the collectors of all three field formation Collectorates i.e. Appraisement West, Appraisement East and Port Muhammad Bin Qasim to make sure that their respective collectorates are conducting the hearings of the cases on daily basis.

According to details, the Chief Collector-Appraisement South Abdul Rashid Shaikh received several complaints that the importers and their respective clearing agents had faced difficulties in connection with hearings of their cases.

The Chief Collector-Appraisement (South) further got information that the deputy collectors and assistant collectors in Collectorates are not conducting the hearing of the cases on daily basis and on regular interval, which creating problems to the importers and clearing agents.

Reacting upon some complaints, the Chief Collector-Appraisement South Abdul Rashid Shaikh has asked the Collectors of Appraisement West, Appraisement East and Appraisement Port Muhammad Bin Qasim to ensure that their respective Collectorates conduct hearing of the cases at regular intervals and with reasonable manner, so that the importers and clearing agents could get relief.

The importers have lauded the efforts and measures taken by the Chief Collector-Appraisement South Abdul Rashid Shaikh in this regard and hoped that the time duration of the hearing of the cases would be reduced.
