Chief Collector South Rashid Shaikh gets revenue-related briefings ahead of FBR chief Nisar’s visit

KARACHI: Chief Collector Appraisement South Abdul Rashid Shaikh has chaired a meeting of the collectors of all field formations at his office.

The meeting was attended by the Collectors Appraisement East, Appraisement West, Appraisement-Port Muhammad Bin Qasim, Appraisement Quetta and Appraisement Gwadar.

Abdul Rashid Shaikh was given revenue related briefings by the officials of all field formations as FBR Chairman Nisar Mohammad Khan is expected to visit the collectorate next week.

The collectors of all field formation Collectorates were briefed the chief collector-Appraisement (South) about the current revenue related figures and the status of revenue collection by the start of second quarters of the Fiscal Year2016-17.

The Chief Collector Appraisement South Abdul Rashid Shaikh has asked the collectors of all field formations to come up with a formula through which the leakages in revenue collections would be stopped and to safe the national exchequer at large extent.

The chief collector-Appraisement (South) Abdul Rashid Shaikh has also expressed satisfaction over the revenue collection by all the field formation Collectorates by the end of first quarters of the FY2016-17 adding that the FBR is determined to increase the revenue collection of all Collectorates.

The chief collector Appraisement South further asked the authorities of all the field formation Collectorates to ensure completion of effective presentations related to revenue generation by the end of this current week, so that an effective revenue related presentation to be given to the Chairman FBR Nisar Muhammad Ali Khan.
