Chief Collector Nazim visits Hyderabad collectorate, reviews revenue recovery

HYDERABAD: Chief Collector Customs Enforcement-South Karachi, Nazim saleem visited the Model Customs Collectorate (MCC) Hyderabad in order to review the revenue recovery position.

According to the details, Chief Collector Nazim held meeting with the Hyderabad Collector Dr Ahmad Mujtaba Memon, Additional Collector Riaz Ahmad Memon, Additional Collector-II Omer Shafique and with other officials of the Collectorate.

The chief collector was briefed on the revenue collected by the department so far, while the chief collector directed the official of the MCC Hyderabad to mark the 100 percent achievement in revenue generation by the end of outgoing fiscal year 2014-15.

Chief Collector Nazim Saleem also asked the officials to curb the smuggling of Iranian diesel and other contraband items in order to save the local market.

Sind Ranger official Colonel Shakeel Shoukat was also present in the meeting.
