Chief Collector Samaira Nazir inaugurates dispensary for class four staff

LAHORE: Chief Collector of Customs Central Region Samaira Nazir Khan opened Customs House dispensary at the Customs House.

Talking to Customs Today after inauguration of the dispensary, Chief Collector Samaira Nazir said that the dispensary has been specially set up for the class four staff and Collector of Customs (Appeals) Dr Asif Mehmood Jah has voluntarily consented to extend health services for the staff of the house.

She said that these days people are confronted with a number of health issues, including blood pressure and stresses. Class four staff and their families would be the main beneficiaries of the Customs House dispensary, she informed.

“We would try to provide as much as health care services to the staff as we could to do,” she said adding that earlier a dispensary was serving the staff of the house, however, it could not be uphled. She said that this time special care would be taken to maintain the facility for the lower grade staff. Dr Asif Mehmood Jah examined patients on the occasion.

A large number of customs officers including Collector of Customs Zulfiqar Younis, Customs I&I Director Saud Imran Ahamd, Collector Mohammad Sadiq, Director Valuation Dr Mubashar Baig, Director Post Clearance Audit (PCA) Rauf Ahmad, Additional Collector Amir Rasheed, Additional Directors Sadia Munib, Zeb Gull Shabbir, Deputy Collector Abbas Ali Babar, AC Headquaters Afzal Mahmood, ASO Assistant Collector Dr Adnan Khan and others were present on the occasion.
