Chief Collector Sarwat Tahira visits Peshawar Customs House today

ISLAMABAD: Chief Collector North Sarwat Tahira Habib will visit the Model Customs Collectorate Peshawar on today (16th of March) to overview the performance of Anti-Smuggling Organization.

According to Fazle Samad, Additional Deputy Collector Model Customs Collectorate Peshawar, Chief Collector will particularly visit the collectorate where she will get a briefing by Qurban Ali Khan on the performance of the Anti-Smuggling activity.

He said the chief collector will also be told about the interventions faced during the anti-smuggling activity. The collector will also throw light on the performance of Anti-Smuggling Organization with the compression between current period (July to February FY16-17) and with the same period of corresponding Financial Year 2015-16.

The collector will also explain the details of huge seizures taken during the current financial year. He also said that she will also be informed about the hiring of premises for conducting activities of the Anti-Smuggling Organization.

He said the chief collector will also be informed about the performance of Peshawar airport and AFU as to how they are working under the jurisdiction of the MCC Peshawar.
