Chief Collector Sarwat to visit Islamabad Dry Port, AFU, BBIA today

ISLAMABAD: Chief Collector North will visit Dry Port Islamabad, Air Freight Unit and Benazir Bhutto International Airport Islamabad today.

According to details, Chief Collector North Sarwat Tahira Habib will visit AFU, BBIA and DPI for checking the performance and brief them about improving the revenue.

The sources said that Chief Collector scheduled her visit on advise of Member Customs of Federal Board of Revenue Zahid Khokhar, adding that Collector Model Customs Collectorate Islamabad Dr. Arslan will also accompany her at both of Customs stations.

Chief Collector scheduled a meeting at AFU where Additional Deputy Collector AFU, Deputy Collector Airport, Deputy Collector AFU Admin and Deputy Collector Export will be present for briefing.

The sources said that the main focus of this meeting will be to discuss the next quarter’s revenue target and hurdles faced by the Customs stations.
