Chief Collector Zeba Hai Azhar most likely to be new Member Customs

LAHORE: Chief Collector of Customs Zeba Hai Azhar is most likely to be the Member Customs Operations Federal Board of Revenue, sources told Customs Today.

She is one of the most senior officers of Pakistan Customs who have a vast experience of the field service. She belonged to 15th common group of Pakistan Customs Service. She is among one of the most dedicated, and professional official of Pakistan Customs

Zeba Hai Azhar is also the President of Pakistan Customs Officers Association.

The sources further told that the Chief Collector of Customs North Region Dr. Asif Mehmood Jah and Director-General Directorate General of Training and Research Faiz Ahmad were also being considered for the slot of Member Customs FBR.

However, sources said that being the most senior officer of Pakistan Customs Service Zeba Hai Azhar has been selected for the post of Member Customs Federal Board of Revenue.

It is necessary to mention here that Jawwad Awais Agha was removed as Member Customs and the post was vacant since then.
