Inland Revenue Chief Commissioner Mansur vows to resolve Gujranwala traders’ problems

SIALKOT:  Gujranwala Inland Revenue Chief Commissioner Mansur Ahmed Bajwa has assured the business community to resolve their tax-related issues.

Bajwa said that efforts were being made to resolve the issued by taking the Gujranwala business community into confidence. He said this while addressing a meeting of businessmen at the Gujranwala Chamber of Commerce and Industry (GCCI). GCCI President Khawaja Khalid Hassan presided over the meeting.

The chief commissioner said that Gujranwala businessmen have been playing a pivotal role in strengthening the national economy. He added that all the hurdles would be removed by taking local traders into confidence, besides, resolving their tax-related issues and clearing their prolonged pending refund claims.

He also sought cooperation of the GCCI in bringing maximum traders under the tax net. Bajwa added that the liaison committee would be activated further to bridge the communication gap between FBR and GCCI to resolve the issues amicably with mutual understanding.
