SIALKOT: Chief Commissioner Regional Tax Offices (RTO) Sialkot Imran Raza Kazmi has said the government has extended the date of Voluntary Tax Amnesty Scheme (VTAS) for filing of returns until March 15, 2016. The purpose of extending the deadline is to attract more taxpayers.

While talking to Customs Today, Imran said this scheme is not aimed at whitening the black money, rather it is purely for those traders who did not file any income tax return for the past 10 years.
