ISLAMABAD: The Islamabad High Court (IHC) on Tuesday issued notice to the Appellate Tribunal Inland Revenue (ATIR).
A division bench of the IHC comprising Justice Noor ul Haq N Qureshi and Justice Athar Minallah heard the income tax reference filed by M/S Ruby Jeweler through Advocate Asad Rana.
During the course of hearing, the court noticed that the main counsel for respondent had not appeared. Jutice Noor ul Haq N Qureshi asked the standing counsel, who had appeared on behalf of the ATIR’s counsel (Zaidi), to ensure presence before the tribunal on the next hearing.
The court then issued notice to ATIR counsel and set the next date of hearing in third week of March.
