Chief Commissioner RTO Multan kicks off tree plantation campaign

MULTAN: The Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) Regional Tax Office (RTO) has launched tree plantation campaign by planting a sapling at his office.

Chief Commissioner Regional Tax Office Multan Muhammad Abid Hussain Bodla has planted a sapling in the lawn of Regional Tax Office. Tree was planted under Clean and Green Pakistan Initiative and speaking on this occasion, he said in these campaign 1,000 trees would be planted in various offices and all subordinate offices in Multan.

He stated that planting tree is Sadqa-e-Jaria. Every one of us should not only plant at least one tree but should protect it for its survival. These trees will include various species such as Orchid (Kachnaar), Ficus (Peepal), Pongamia (Sukh Chain), and Banyan Tree (Badh). As part of its Social Responsibility, Regional Tax Office Multan is striving to contribute to the country’s economic development while actively ensuring the preservation and promotion of a clean and sustainable environment.

Moreover, Commissioner Bilal Ahmad, Commissioner Multan Zone Pir Khalid Qureshi, Additional Commissioner Zahida Sarfraz,Deputy Commissioner Abid Hussain Gulshan,Deputy Director Mukhtiar Hussain Thaheem, Admin Officer Malik Safdar Hussain, inaugurated the campaign by planting tree at his check post.
