Chief Commissioner’s conference concludes in FBR

ISLAMABAD: Two day Chief Commissioner’s conference has been concluded in the Federal Board of Revenue Headquarter Islamabad. The purpose of the conference was to review the performance of Large Taxpayers Units and Regional Tax Offices and make a new strategy for the achievement of the revenue target of the current financial year.

All the Chief Commissioners were invited to attend the conference while Chairman FBR Tariq Mehmood Pasha  presided over  the conference. Member Administration Tasneem Rehman, Member Operation Inland Revenue Khawaja Tanvir Ahmed, Member Customs Zahid Kholhar, Member Tax Payers Audit Rehmat Ullah Khan Wazir, Member FATE Ms. Nuasheen Javaid, Member Inland Revenue Policy Dr. Muhammad Iqbal, Member Legal Hafiz Muhammad Indhar, Member IT Khawaja Adnan Zahir, Chief BTB FBR HQ Ardsher Saleem Tariq and Chief Commissioner’s all over the Pakistan including, Chief Commissioner IR RTO III Karachi Nazir Ahmed Shoro, Chief Commissioner IR Corporate Zone RTO Islamabad Imran Latif Minhas, Chief Commissioner IR Regional Tax Office Sukkhar Dr. Muhammad Ali Khan, Chief Commissioner IR RTO Bahawalpur Rajabuddin, Chief Commissioner IR RTO Quetta Saif ullah Khan, Chief Commissioner IR RTO Sargodha Mustafa Sajjad Hussain, Chief Commissioner IR RTO II Lahore Syed Imran Raza Kazmi, Chief Commissioner IR RTO Gujranwala Ghazanfar Hussain, Chief Commissioner IR RTO II Karachi Ghulam Mustafa Rahu, Chief Commissioner IR RTO Multan Asim Ahmed, Chief Commissioner IR RTO Sailkot Muhammad Nadeem Arif, Chief Commissioner IR RTO Khalil Ahmed Zahid and Chief Commissioner IR Large Tax Payer Unit II Karachi attended the conference.

According to sources Chairman Federal Board of Revenue Tariq Mehmood Pasha has urged to chief commissioner’s that they would focus on enforcement, audit and bringing new taxpayer in the tax net and Maximum efforts would be directed towards collection of arrears.
