BEIJING: Huanggang Customs House (affiliated to Shenzhen Customs District) seized an entry smuggling case, in which 360 iPhones were hided in wheel hubs of an inbound vehicle.
By image scanning, officers found something abnormal at the vehicle bottom. Then closer inspection revealed three hidden boxes next to wheel hubs. The lawbreakers racked their brains in tightly welding the hidden boxes into the vehicle body. By using special devices, the officers finally opened all the boxes and took out 360 sets of Apple iPhones, which were estimated worth RMB500,000.
