BEIJING: China’s diesel exports soared by almost 223% in the period of January to July 2016 from the same period in 2015, according to figures released by the country’s National Bureau of Statistics.
China exported almost 371,000 barrels a day of diesel in July, 85,000 b/d more than the January-to-July average. The total exported this year to the end of July reached almost 61 million barrels, already exceeding the figure of 53.7 million barrels for the whole of 2015. Gasoline exports for July were 263,000 b/d with the January-to-July total of almost 47.8 million barrels over 84% higher than the same period in 2015.
